The quaint shop, housed in a former barbershop in Orient, has antique fittings that display their stylish cotton quilts, aprons and napkins, woolen blankets, and a lovely collection of salt cellars and porcelain soap dishes, puzzles and a variety of unique items – something for everyone. Their online store matches the charm and style of their brick and mortar location and is well worth a visit.

Established in 2003, they’re a small family farm located in Orient that specializes in naturally grown berries. Everything is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, utilizing organic methods. All produce is hand picked daily. They only sell what they grow.

Oysterponds Historical Society
Founded in 1944, Oysterponds Historical Society (OHS) maintains seven historically-significant buildings, cares for 8+ acres of grounds, and actively manages a collection of over 60,000 items. Every year OHS offers myriad compelling exhibitions of contemporary or historical significance, lectures, webinars, and other community events and activities focused on the North Fork hamlets of Orient and East Marion and open to the public. Additionally, three of OHS’s historic buildings are open to the public on a regular basis during the summer months.

Phil and his team of passionate growers are dedicated to producing sustainable Orient oysters of the highest quality and freshness of uniform size with deep cups. The premium quality they produce is the “epitome of East End oysters – bright and briny up front, delicate with hints of tannin and iron on the finish.”

North Fork Big Oyster is a family owned and operated oyster farm that produces boutique Peconic oysters for restaurants, events and oyster lovers of all stripes in and around New York.
Paumanok Vineyards
This 127 acre estate, founded in 1983, is entirely owned and managed by Ursula and Charles Massoud and their three sons. Born and raised in the "Old World", wine has always been a part of their lives and the tradition continues at Paumanok Vineyards.
Only premium vinifera grapes are planted, consisting of Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Only estate grown grapes are used and production is limited to fewer than 12,000 cases. They have a passionate commitment to making exquisite wines and won the prestigious New York ‘Winery of the Year’ award in 2021.

Peconic Gold is a boutique oyster farm located in Great Peconic Bay. Their goal is to continue the legendary tradition of Long Island oyster farming and produce the best half shell oyster on the East Coast. “Sustainable practices help give back to the waters that provide our livelihood”. Their oysters have a mild brininess, a sweet, creamy complexion, with hints of minerals and the edible gracilaria seaweed that grows around the oysters. A boutique-style specialty plant nursery located on 14 landscaped and wild acres in Calverton, providing passionate gardeners with garden-worthy plants since 1986. They sell many different plants, herbs, Long Island natives, flowers for cutting, gourmet and heirloom vegetable varieties, unusual small trees and shrubs, container plants, hedges for hiding, and wonderfully textured ground covers, ferns, and grasses for lower maintenance yards.
